A Proud Moment of Recognition for KDIC

It was a moment of great pride and celebration for the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) as two of our leaders were recognized for their exceptional leadership, professionalism and contribution to the governance profession.

Our Board Chairperson, Mrs. Hannah W. Muriithi, EBS, received a distinguished Commendation from the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) in recognition of her exemplary leadership, strategic direction and unwavering commitment to service excellence. The recognition was a fitting acknowledgement of the leadership she continues to provide in guiding KDIC towards greater impact and excellence.

Adding to this proud moment, Nelson Nyongesa, Deputy Director, Deposit Insurance and Bank Surveillance, was formally admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Secretaries (FCS). This prestigious recognition reflected his wealth of professional expertise and sustained contribution to strengthening governance standards.

Beyond the two individual honours, the occasion was a celebration of what KDIC stands for: strong leadership, sound governance, professionalism and a culture that inspires excellence.
