The Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation will continue to build the capacity of its workforce aimed at enhancing its service delivery as well as meeting the Corporation’s public commitment.

Speaking during a 3-day working workshop for KDIC’s Management, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Mohamud Ahmed Mohamud however challenged the team to constantly innovate so as to resolve any emerging challenges and improve service delivery. He urged the team to continue focusing on the bigger picture and ensure that “The internal ecosystem is well nourished to power the  KDIC spacecraft.”

 

He added that: “We need to be experts in financial technology. For us to achieve that, we must reconfigure our strategy and ensure it is well aligned.”

 

During the workshop, the team reviewed the Corporation’s Performance Management tool, an exercise that was facilitated by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS). Mr. Mohamud expressed optimism that the reviewed tool will greatly impact KDIC’s deliverables both at Corporate and individual levels.
